Renewal Leather Choker
This beautiful necklace is made by the lost-wax casting method.
Koru is a spiral shape based on the shape of a new unfurling silver fern frond and symbolizing new life, growth, strength and peace.
The circular shape of the koru helps to convey the idea of perpetual movement while the inner coil suggests a return to the point of origin.
It is an integral symbol in Māori art, the indigenous Polynesian people of New Zealand.
I use a Koru symbol made in wax and cast it myself. I use fine silver as it has an exceptional shine to it. The leather cord choker measures 15" and the cord that hold the leaf is 17" long. The clasp is a handmade toggle and is easy to put on, and very secure. It is very feminine and quite a statement piece that you will surely love for years to come.
This necklace is also available as a sterling silver 16" choker for and additional fee.
